Commitment
We are Committed to Stronger Communities Built on Character

As a Texas business leader, it is our responsibility to help contribute to safer and stronger communities. And strong and secure communities are built first on a commitment to character.

SafeSight is committed to character education in our schools and professional life and is an active supporter of Character First! and the International Association of Character Cities and the International Justice Mission.

About the International Association of Character Cities

The International Association of Character Cities (IACC) formed in 1998 with a twofold strategy: equipping families to build character and helping communities reinforce character among their citizens. IACC provides resources, training, contacts, and counsel to leaders who are committed to character development: in themselves, their families, and their communities. To learn more about the IACC visit www.charactercities.org.

About the International Justice Mission

International Justice Mission is a human rights organization that rescues victims of violence, sexual exploitation, slavery and oppression. IJM documents and monitors conditions of abuse and oppression, educates the church and public about the abuses, and mobilizes intervention on behalf of victims. “Today crime, juvenile delinquency, broken families, and overcrowded prisons overshadow much of our nation's productivity, ingenuity, and prosperity. The reason for this decline is the lack of individual character.

However, government and community leaders can use their influence to foster a community-wide culture where good character is rewarded. When character is developed on the individual and family level, lasting and positive change will occur.”
